One Saturday. One room in Hyderabad. Three problems to solve.
Signal Labs builds the AI native infrastructure that decides what deserves attention: signal detection, hypothesis reasoning, and automated decisioning at scale.
Every enterprise runs a hundred odd systems, each generating its own alerts, reports and dashboards. The information is all there. Models have never been better at reading it. And almost none of it still reaches the right person in time to matter. That is not an intelligence problem. It is an architecture problem, and it is the one we have decided to solve.
On Saturday, August 29, 2026, we are opening our Hyderabad office for a day to see what you can build with the same class of problem in front of you. Pick a track, form a team, bring whatever AI tooling you are fastest in, and ship something real before the afternoon freeze, then demo it live before we close at 6:30 PM.
Three Tracks - pick one
- Tokenomics - Design or simulate an incentive mechanism, a token model, or an on chain economic system, including one where the actors are autonomous AI agents rather than people, and show why it holds up under stress.
- Distributed Systems - Build something that has to survive failure, latency or scale: a consensus mechanism, a real time data pipeline, an agent orchestration layer, or an inference serving path that stays up when traffic spikes.
- Platform & SaaS - Build a multi tenant product, a developer tool, or an AI native feature: an agent, an automated workflow, a retrieval layer, or an infrastructure primitive.
One track per team. Choose on the day; you are not locked in at registration.
Where
Hyderabad HITEC City / Financial District. We are locking the exact venue between our two locations right now. Register and we will send you the full address, floor and a maps pin as soon as it is confirmed, well before Saturday morning. Both options sit inside the HITEC City Financial District corridor, so plan your travel for that side of the city.
Who can come
Anyone who wants to write code. Students, final years, fresh grads, working professionals, senior engineers, ML and AI engineers — all of it. No resume screen, no CGPA cut off, no prior hackathon record required. If you build, you belong in the room.
When you register, tell us which band fits you best: 0–6 months, 3–5 years, or 5+ years of experience. This is not a filter and it does not split the competition, everyone builds on the same three tracks and is judged on one leaderboard. We ask only so we can help people find teammates and point mentors where they are wanted.
Teams of 2 to 4. Name your team at registration. Solo entries are welcome too, and if you turn up without a team we will help you find one on the morning. The room holds 50, so registration closes when the seats do.

Paid internships not tied to the leaderboard
The strongest builders we see on the day get a 3 month paid internship at the Signal Labs Hyderabad office, with a real path to converting to full time based on your contribution during it. This can be a whole team or a single person pulled out of any team. You do not have to place to get one, and placing does not guarantee one.

Already working? We are hiring into the Hyderabad office, and the fastest way into that conversation is a day of us watching you build. Same logic, the leaderboard is not the filter.
All offers follow our standard hiring process, including identity and background verification, before they start.
What we want out of your demo
Two things matter more than anything else: how you architected it, and whether it solves a real problem.
Show us the architecture. Walk us through the design, what the components are, how data moves between them, what you chose and what you deliberately rejected, and where the thing falls over. One clear diagram earns more than a polished UI. Every build has trade offs; being able to name yours is the signal we are reading.
Show us the problem. Who actually has it, what it costs them today, and what changes once your thing exists. "This is broken, here is the piece we built" beats a clever feature with nobody on the other end of it.
Four criteria. The first two carry the most weight:
- Architecture and technical judgement design quality, trade offs, how it behaves under scale or failure
- Real world problem solving is the problem real, and does the build genuinely move it
- Originality
- Demo quality five minutes, clearly explained
Five minute live demo per team. Working beats polished, we would rather see a rough thing that runs and is well explained than a deck about a thing that does not. Bring your architecture on one slide or draw it on the whiteboard. The judges will ask about it.
